I liked the place thanks to staff and food. Plenty of supplies in the room: an electronic key card, multi-channel TV and a writing desk.

Good hot breakfast, historic location, spotless place overall. Lots of options for breakfast in the restaurant. We loved the convenience of the standard queen room, as well as cable programming and very good soundproofing etc. And it was close to the train station. Service was impeccable, staff - extraordinary service-minded!
We didn't like the bed, it was very narrow.

I would say it's excellent base for staying and exploring Chennai. Mathsya, where you can eat, is walking distance to from here.

Genuinely nice people working here, delightful breakfast. Room was beautifully presented, convenient, I was pleased. There also was easy free parking and incredible pool. Pleasant location very close to shopping areas. : )
